Managing Difficult Conversations – A Practical Workshop

19th November 2019

Do you dread having certain ‘conversations’ with people?

Whilst few would argue that communication is key to successful interactions and outcomes in the workplace, many people find giving useful and constructive feedback to be stressful and often struggle with negative outcomes and ‘fall-out’ from this.

What if there was an alternative that allowed you to be yourself and to generate positive outcomes and buy-in from others?

We offer a simple, refreshing approach to giving feedback and having conversations with other people that will allow you to develop constructive relationships and achieve positive results.

Our practical workshop offers an introduction to supervisors, managers and anyone who encounters situations where they need to give feedback or address problems/performance issues with others.

We use a practical, positive, coaching-based approach.

On this workshop you will:
• Identify personal and external fears and barriers that prevent successful discussions.
• Learn how to take a problem-solving, coaching-based approach to gain positive results.
• Learn how to be yourself and gain confidence when holding difficult conversations.
• Identify and practice key tips and strategies for successful feedback and conversations.

GOOD NEWS! Whilst you will have opportunity to practice the knowledge and skills learnt on this workshop, we DON’T DO ROLE PLAY! Instead we take a more collaborative approach to expand and embed your learning.

We only work with small group sizes, giving delegates opportunity to personalise the session to meet their own needs.

Suitable For:
Supervisors. managers and leaders working at any level and anyone wishing to improve their confidence in giving feedback and addressing problem areas.
